Coordination
Structural Coordination
Architectural and structural drawings coordinated into one permit-ready package through professional structural coordination services.
Overview
Projects involving a licensed structural engineer require architectural plans and structural construction documents to function as one coordinated permit set. We review both sets for dimensional conflicts, reference inconsistencies, and assembly gaps, then produce a combined package that reads as a single coherent document. All coordination is completed in direct communication with the engineer of record so that discrepancies are resolved before the package reaches plan check.
Uncoordinated drawings are a leading cause of plan check corrections and field conflicts. When the architectural and structural sets do not agree on dimensions, bearing locations, or assembly details, the project pays twice: once at plan check and again in the field. Structural coordination eliminates those conflicts before the package reaches submission.
