Documentation
As-Built Documentation
Accurate existing-conditions drawings for renovation, permitting, and real estate.
Overview
As-built documentation captures the precise dimensions, layout, and conditions of an existing structure as it stands today. Before any renovation, addition, or permit application can move forward, the building department and project team need to understand what already exists. We measure the building, verify against any available original drawings, and produce a complete set of existing-conditions plans that form the foundation for all subsequent design and permit work.
Proceeding without accurate as-built documentation is one of the most common sources of unexpected costs in renovation and permit work. Dimensions that do not match reality create problems at every phase: design, permit, and construction. A verified baseline eliminates that category of risk before the project begins.
